Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a pristine environment. Handle various cleaning tasks such as floor care, chemical agent handling, and industrial cleaning using appropriate equipment like vacuums, mops, and buffers. Maintain public areas including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by ensuring they are clean, organized, and inviting. Follow safety procedures by understanding and adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) for all chemical agents used during cleaning processes. Assist with heavy lifting and manual handling tasks when moving furniture or large supplies while following proper safety protocols. Respond promptly to guest requests or concerns related to cleanliness or amenities with excellent customer service skills. Support hotel housekeeping management by completing detailed reports on sanitation standards and maintenance issues as needed. Qualifications Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial roles with a strong understanding of sanitation practices. Knowledge of floor cleaning techniques, chemical handling, and the use of cleaning equipment. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude toward guests and team members. Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for all staff and visitors. Previous experience in industrial or custodial cleaning is advantageous but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Strong work ethic with attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
