Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation. Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure hygienic living environments. Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens. Use appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents to maintain floors, carpets, surfaces, and appliances. Manage manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of furniture or large items safely and efficiently. Maintain a high standard of cleanliness through detailed floor care, outdoor work when necessary, and surface cleaning. Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service. Follow safety protocols related to janitorial and custodial work to prevent accidents or injuries. Manage time efficiently to complete scheduled tasks within designated timeframes while maintaining quality standards. Skills Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping management with strong janitorial or custodial background. Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor cleaning techniques, carpet cleaning, and outdoor work experience. Familiarity with cleaning detergents, equipment operation, and sanitation procedures. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks with proper technique. Excellent customer service skills with clear client communication abilities. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively throughout the day. Attention to detail in dusting, surface sanitation, floor care, and overall cleanliness maintenance.
