Chelsea, MI What You'll Do:

As a Launderer , you'll play an important role in helping keep our community clean, comfortable, and well-stocked for residents each day. In this role, you'll support daily laundry operations by sorting, washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing to ensure residents and team members have the supplies they need. You'll operate laundry equipment safely, follow proper cleaning and infection control procedures, and inspect items for quality to ensure they are clean, fresh, and ready for use. You may also assist with general housekeeping support as needed, including cleaning resident rooms and common areas, sanitizing surfaces, replenishing supplies, and helping maintain a welcoming environment throughout the community. This role is a great fit for someone who takes pride in staying organized, enjoys hands-on work, and wants to make a meaningful impact by supporting the comfort, cleanliness, and daily needs of older adults. Key Responsibilities Support Laundry Operations

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, hang, and organize resident clothing, linens, and other laundry items. Operate Equipment Safely
• Use washers, dryers, steamers, and other laundry equipment according to established procedures. Maintain Quality Standards
• Inspect clothing and linens for stains, damage, or quality concerns before and after washing. Follow Infection Control Procedures
• Properly handle soiled or contaminated laundry in accordance with safety and sanitation guidelines. Keep Supplies Stocked
• Maintain an adequate supply of clean linens and notify leadership when laundry supplies need to be reordered. Maintain a Clean Work Area
• Keep the laundry area, equipment, filters, vents, and surfaces clean and organized. Assist with Housekeeping Support
• Help clean resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and hallways as needed. Complete General Cleaning Tasks
• Support vacuuming, mopping, dusting, trash removal, linen changes, and supply replenishment. Provide Friendly Service
• Respond to resident, guest, and team member requests with professionalism and care.

Experience as a housekeeper or cleaner in a long-term care facility or medical environment, required.
