In this role, you will ensure that all spaces are spotless, organized, and welcoming for residents and guests alike. Your attention to detail and commitment to high standards will contribute to a comfortable and hygienic environment, making a positive impact on everyone who enters. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of all surfaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing floors to ensure a pristine appearance. Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures according to established standards to maintain a safe environment. Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items. Use appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents safely and effectively for various tasks such as carpet cleaning, floor care, and surface sanitation. Assist with outdoor work as needed, maintaining cleanliness in outdoor areas and ensuring proper disposal of waste. Manage time effectively to complete daily cleaning schedules while maintaining flexibility for special requests or urgent tasks. Communicate professionally with clients or residents to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service. Skills Proven janitorial or custodial experience with strong knowledge of cleaning procedures and equipment operation. Expertise in residential cleaning techniques, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and carpet cleaning. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and outdoor work activities. Knowledge of cleaning detergents, sanitation standards, and proper use of cleaning supplies. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the shift. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients or residents.
