Vacation rental cleaning/housekeeping

Job Description Clean short term vacation rentals after guests check out. Earn some extra money with flexible hours with as few as 10 hours a week to 30 plus if desired. Hourly rate $16-$25/hour for experienced cleaner/housekeeper. Previous cleaning experience preferred but not required. Potential to work weekends only, during the week or both. typical hours are 10AM to 4PM but other hours also available in the off season. Quaint Cottages pays milage to and from the cottage that is cleaned and also provides all equipment and cleaning supplies so all you need to do is be ready to work. Detailed instructions for each cottage provided to cleaner prior to clean.

Job description below:

• ̈ Follow the direction and schedule given by the designated Property Manager (PM).
• ̈ Work with an experienced cottage cleaner and ask questions until you are comfortable with the expectations and performing all duties on the checklists provided for your clean. If you have questions ask the cleaner you are training with or the PM.
• ̈ Perform cleaning of cottages or houses with equipment and cleaners provided by Quaint Cottages either as vacant homes or cottages or cottages that guests have just checked out.
• ̈ Clean cottages to the standards trained by the head cleaners. These standards are such of high end hotels and are expected to be virtually as clean as a new home or cottage.
• ̈ Compile laundry into bags for that cottage and deliver to laundry facility.
• ̈ Understand the allotted time required to clean the cottage efficiently. This time is listed on the cleaning checklist for each cottage.
• ̈ Perform a checklist provided by PM when cottage is completed, make sure everything on the checklist has been completed to the highest quality. Also list any items noticed that are damaged or missing from the cottage. Turn the checklist into the appropriate place identified by the PM.
• ̈ Report anything needing fixed immediately to PM or create work order in Bookerville.
• ̈ Periodically clean common area bathrooms, clean and organize storage facility and special projects directed by the PM.
• ̈ Clock in and out of payroll system and upon clocking out put in notes as to what cottage was cleaned and or other duties performed.
• ̈ Return to cottage cleaned and correct any issues reported by head cleaner or guest.
