Handle laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items. Clean floors thoroughly through sweeping, mopping, and specialized floor care techniques to preserve flooring quality. Maintain the cleanliness of surfaces such as countertops, appliances, bathroom fixtures, and furniture to uphold client satisfaction. Utilize janitorial and custodial experience to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively. Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture or equipment while adhering to safety protocols. Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and ensure their expectations are met or exceeded. Follow time management practices to complete assigned tasks promptly without compromising quality. Ensure proper disposal of waste and maintain sanitation standards throughout all cleaning activities. Skills Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures. Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning, and sanitation protocols. Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and effectively. Familiarity with cleaning detergents and chemicals used for different surfaces while prioritizing safety. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their needs. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during scheduled shifts. Physical stamina for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and outdoor work when necessary. Experience in housekeeping management or custodial roles is a plus but not required. Attention to detail when dusting, sanitizing, and maintaining overall cleanliness standards.
