Hotel Room Attendant / Housekeeper

Duties Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies to uphold high standards of cleanliness Perform floor care tasks such as mopping, sweeping, and polishing to keep all surfaces spotless and safe for guests Maintain public areas like hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and common spaces with thorough cleaning and attention to detail Assist with laundry duties by washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels efficiently Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to ensure a secure and well-maintained environment Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations Support team members during busy periods by managing additional cleaning tasks or assisting with guest requests Skills Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments is highly desirable Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning Familiarity with hotel housekeeping standards and procedures enhances efficiency and quality of service Excellent attention to detail to ensure every room meets cleanliness and presentation standards Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting with minimal supervision Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive cleaning tasks throughout shifts Experience with custodial or industrial cleaning tools and supplies is a plus; knowledge of housekeeping management practices is advantageous This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to contribute to a welcoming guest environment through diligent cleaning and hospitality expertise.
