This is a part-time position, 2nd shift requiring weekend availability. This position is eligible for discounted downtown parking, free employee meals, hotel and restaurant discounts and more. SUMMARY The turndown attendant is a key individual in providing a 4 diamond experience through our evening refresh service. The turndown attendant must ensure that each room meets a 96% quality expectation in a timely manner. They must also ensure all service standards for a 4 diamond property are met as well as budgetary goals and interdepartmental relations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Refresh guest rooms by hitting 23 key points in the room Keep a consistent pace of less than 5 minutes per room to ensure that 50-60 are completed within the 4 ½ hours allowed for service Deliver all guest requests within 15 minutes Work independently, in assigned section, to complete the daily assignment Report maintenance issues in rooms to AYS and housekeeping supervisor Perform deep cleaning projects throughout the hotel to ensure a pristine environment for the guests Must be able to sweep, mop, and use laundry equipment Perform any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor
REQUIRED SKILLS
Must be reliable; willing to work weekends and holidays Must be able to refresh 50-60 rooms per shift and average under 5 minutes per room Able to use different types of chemicals Requires the ability to work independently and follow directions as assigned by supervisors Must assist with deep cleaning projects throughout the hotel as assigned Must be fully trained and able to clean rooms Must keep cart clear of unapproved items to avoid damage
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent preferred Related experience is preferred.
