Holiday Inn Express Howell is looking for Hotel Room Attendants/Housekeepers with previous cleaning/janitorial experience or hotel experience! We are looking for people who have an eye for detail, a knack for time management, and are good at meeting quality standards while satisfying our guests. You'll be the heartbeat of our establishment, contributing significantly to guest satisfaction and comfort. What you'll do Clean and maintain guest rooms, ensuring they are spotless and inviting for every arrival. Perform floor care duties, including vacuuming, mopping, and polishing surfaces to enhance the overall appearance of the property. Collaborate with housekeeping management to uphold cleanliness standards and address any special requests from guests. Utilize industrial cleaning techniques and janitorial practices to maintain common areas and facilities in top condition. Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to ensure uninterrupted service. Adhere to safety protocols while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment, ensuring a safe environment for both guests and staff. Provide exceptional hospitality by responding promptly to guest requests or concerns regarding room cleanliness or amenities. Basic qualifications Proven experience in cleaning or custodial roles, preferably within a hotel or hospitality setting. Preferred qualifications Familiarity with housekeeping management practices. Strong attention to detail with a passion for maintaining high cleanliness standards. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes.
