Flexibility may be required during peak weeks. About Us The Hardwoods is a multi-building residential property in beautiful Hubbard Lake, MI. This large lakefront property is bustling with guests and events in the summer months and requires additional help to keep the houses clean and operations running smoothly. Position Overview As a Housekeeper at The Hardwoods, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our residential buildings. Working under the guidance of our Property Caretakers, you will be responsible for various housekeeping tasks to ensure that our owners and guests feel welcome and cared for during their stay. Key Responsibilities Perform walkthroughs of the buildings, checking for areas that need to be cleaned Clean and sanitize surfaces throughout the residential properties, including countertops, tables, and appliances. Vacuum and mop floors to remove dust, dirt, and debris. Make beds with fresh linens and ensure that bedrooms are tidy. Launder bed linens, towels, and other household linens as needed. Refresh/stock bathrooms Wash dishes and put them away in an organized manner. Tidy up common areas and ensure that they are free of clutter. Assist with possible kitchen and meal preparation tasks as needed. Other relevant duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field preferred. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and orderly environment. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Positive attitude and a willingness to provide exceptional service to our owners and guests. Availability to work 20 hours per week, including weekends and holidays as needed. Reliable transportation is a must.
