Ishpeming Multi-Purpose Senior Center In-Home Service Worker - Homemaking and Respite Care Objective of position: Provide Homemaking services or Respite Care for seniors residing in the City of Ishpeming, townships of Ely, Ishpeming, Tilden, Champion, Humboldt, Republic, and Michigamme. Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain an adequate living environment for older individuals with functional limitations.

Tasks assigned can include:

Cleaning Bathroom Cleaning Kitchens Assisting with dishes Cleaning bedroom and making bed Laundry Vacuuming Mopping floors observing, reporting, and recording any changes in client's condition and home environment. Respite Care ( provide essential, short-term relief for primary caregivers, offering temporary support. Companionship and housekeeping) Requires use of licensed and insured private vehicle/ mileage reimbursement at .58/mile. Must be able to bend, twist, kneel, reach overhead and may require lifting more than 20 pounds. Looking for an individual who is reliable, a self -starter and who enjoys working with seniors.
