Part-Time Housekeeper Job Summary:

The Part-Time Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, visitors, and staff. This position performs daily cleaning tasks in resident apartments and common areas while following infection control and safety standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Clean resident apartments, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas. Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize floors and surfaces. Make beds and change linens as needed. Empty trash and dispose of waste properly. Clean and sanitize restrooms and high-touch surfaces. Replenish paper products, soap, and other housekeeping supplies. Report maintenance needs, safety hazards, or damaged equipment. Follow infection prevention, safety, and confidentiality policies. Interact with residents, families, and staff in a courteous and respectful manner. Perform other housekeeping duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous housekeeping or custodial experience preferred but not required. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and customer service skills. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods. Must pass required background checks in accordance with state regulations.

Schedule:

Part-time (typically 16-30 hours per week) Weekend and holiday availability may be required.

Physical Requirements:

Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and lifting. Ability to safely operate housekeeping equipment and cleaning tools. This position plays an important role in creating a welcoming, clean, and healthy environment that supports the comfort and well-being of residents.

Pay:

$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
