6 months Temp-Hire Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and accurately document incoming shipments using inventory management software and RF scanners Organize and store stock efficiently within the storeroom or warehouse area, ensuring easy access for picking and packing activities Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling orders in accordance with shipping logistics standards Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (certification preferred), and load/unload trucks safely and efficiently Maintain detailed records of inventory movements, stock levels, and order processing using warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP systems like AS400 or similar platforms Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies to uphold trade compliance and international trade regulations Collaborate with logistics teams to coordinate shipping & receiving schedules, ensuring timely delivery and order fulfillment Qualifications Previous experience in warehouse operations or stockroom management is highly desirable Strong understanding of shipping logistics, order picking & packing, and inventory control procedures Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and data entry tasks Valid certification for forklift operation (preferred but not required) with a commitment to safety standards Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail in stocking, packaging, and data entry tasks Customer service mindset with the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
