Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments, ensuring high standards of hygiene and sanitation. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas. Carry out floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness. Sanitize surfaces and ensure all areas meet health and safety standards. Launder linens and towels as needed, ensuring they are clean and well-presented. Assist with basic cooking tasks when required, following established guidelines for food safety. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs to management. Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests promptly and courteously. Conduct carpet cleaning as necessary to maintain the appearance of carpets in the facility. Collaborate with housekeeping management to implement best practices in cleaning procedures. Perform commercial cleaning duties in various settings as assigned. Qualifications Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial services is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment is a plus. Familiarity with hotel or commercial cleaning standards is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality results consistently. Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, lifting, and bending for extended periods.
