Handle chemical agents safely, adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) and proper chemical handling procedures to maintain a safe environment. Conduct janitorial tasks such as mopping, sweeping, and disinfecting public areas to uphold cleanliness standards. Manage front desk duties including greeting guests, checking them in and out efficiently, and responding promptly to inquiries or requests. Assist guests with their needs, providing excellent customer service that enhances their overall experience. Follow hotel emergency procedures diligently to ensure safety for guests and staff at all times. Perform heavy lifting when necessary for supplies or equipment, maintaining proper manual handling techniques. Requirements Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or custodial experience within hospitality or industrial cleaning environments. Strong knowledge of floor cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, and the use of cleaning equipment. Ability to handle chemical agents responsibly while following safety guidelines and understanding safety data sheets (SDS). Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor. Physical stamina for manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting, vacuuming, and floor care activities. Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols is preferred. Previous janitorial or custodial experience is advantageous; hotel experience is highly valued. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
