Housekeeper Job Description Position Summary The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and sanitation of all common areas throughout the apartment community. This position also performs apartment turnover cleaning to ensure vacant units are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and move-in ready for new residents. The Housekeeper plays a key role in creating a welcoming, safe, and clean environment for residents, guests, and staff while ensuring the community is maintained to the highest standards. Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesCommunity & Common Area Cleaning Clean and sanitize all public restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, countertops, and floors. Sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect hallways, stairwells, elevators, entryways, and other common areas. Clean all lobby areas, leasing office common spaces, community rooms, and resident lounges. Maintain the fitness center by disinfecting equipment, cleaning mirrors, vacuuming/mopping floors, and emptying trash. Clean and maintain laundry rooms, including wiping down washers and dryers, removing lint buildup, mopping floors, and keeping the area organized. Clean all entry doors, interior glass, windows, and high-touch surfaces throughout the property. Maintain the pool area by cleaning furniture, removing debris, emptying trash receptacles, and ensuring the area remains neat and presentable. Water all indoor plants daily and monitor their health and appearance. Empty all interior trash receptacles daily and replace liners as needed. Restock restroom supplies, including toilet paper, paper towels, soap, and other necessities. Apartment Turnover & Move-In Cleaning Perform complete move-out cleanings of vacant apartments to prepare them for new residents. Ensure all apartments are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and move-in ready prior to resident occupancy. Clean kitchens, including cabinets (inside and out), countertops, sinks, appliances, backsplashes, and floors. Clean bathrooms, including tubs, showers, toilets, sinks, mirrors, vanities, and fixtures. Vacuum and mop all flooring and spot clean carpets as needed. Dust and wipe all surfaces, baseboards, windowsills, blinds, doors, trim, and light fixtures. Clean interior windows and remove fingerprints and smudges from glass surfaces. Remove cobwebs and ensure all rooms are free of dust and debris. Empty all trash and dispose of any remaining items left behind after move-outs. Report any maintenance concerns, damages, or needed repairs discovered during apartment inspections. Assist maintenance staff with preparing apartments for occupancy when needed. General Responsibilities Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, vandalism, or damages to management promptly. Assist with setting up and cleaning community spaces before and after resident events. Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are clean, organized, and stored properly. Follow all company safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals according to manufacturer and OSHA guidelines. Provide friendly, professional, and courteous customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and team members. Perform other housekeeping and community-related duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Previous housekeeping, hotel, or apartment turnover experience is preferred but not required. Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Reliable, dependable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending, kneeling, climbing stairs, walking, standing, pushing, and pulling throughout the workday. Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning chemicals properly. Work Environment This position requires working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Frequent walking, standing, lifting, bending, climbing stairs, and repetitive cleaning tasks are required throughout the workday. Performance Expectations Maintain all common areas in a clean, sanitary, and welcoming condition. Ensure every vacant apartment meets company move-in standards before resident occupancy. Complete assigned cleaning tasks thoroughly, efficiently, and on schedule. Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and a positive attitude. Pay:

$14.00 - $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 37.0 - 41.0 per week
