Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. Duties Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and cleaning windows to ensure a pristine environment. Perform laundry services such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels to maintain supply levels. Stocking and organizing of housekeeping closets. Maintain cleanliness of public areas like hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and stairwells by performing janitorial tasks regularly. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately during all cleaning activities to ensure safety and infection control standards are met. Conduct window cleaning and floor care using appropriate techniques to uphold high standards of sanitation and appearance. Assist with heavy lifting tasks such as moving furniture or supplies while adhering to manual handling safety protocols. Follow all sanitation procedures and infection control guidelines diligently to prevent contamination or spread of germs. Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff. Qualifications Prior custodial or janitorial experience in a commercial or hospitality setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper handling procedures, and safety protocols is essential. Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently while maintaining physical stamina throughout shifts. Experience with window cleaning, pressure washing, floor care, and laundry services is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, pressure washers, and chemical dispensers. Understanding of infection control practices and sanitation standards necessary for maintaining a hygienic environment.
