In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort in guest rooms and public areas. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will ensure every guest experiences a pristine, inviting space that exceeds expectations. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in hospitality, janitorial services, and industrial cleaning within a vibrant team dedicated to excellence. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met. Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and elevators to uphold the property's overall appearance. Handle floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning to keep all surfaces spotless and safe. Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, linens, and amenities to ensure guest comfort throughout their stay. Follow established safety protocols during cleaning procedures and use appropriate janitorial equipment responsibly. Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold quality standards. Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to industrial cleaning and custodial practices to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff. Experience Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates. Familiarity with cleaning techniques including floor care, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitation practices is advantageous. Experience with janitorial or industrial cleaning equipment enhances your ability to perform efficiently. Knowledge of hospitality industry standards helps in delivering exceptional guest service through attention to detail. Housekeeping management experience is a plus for those interested in advancing into supervisory roles within the department.
