Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and outdoor work as needed. Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure health and safety standards are met consistently. Manage laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing. Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and janitorial tools with care and precision. Handle manual tasks involving heavy lifting and moving furniture or supplies safely while adhering to proper handling techniques. Maintain cleanliness of all surfaces by applying appropriate cleaning detergents and disinfectants. Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific needs and provide excellent customer service throughout your shift. Organize your time effectively to complete all assigned duties within scheduled hours while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Experience Prior experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping is highly preferred; familiarity with janitorial or custodial work is advantageous. Demonstrated knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation protocols. Experience using various cleaning equipment and detergents safely and efficiently. Strong manual handling skills with the ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Outdoor work experience is a plus for roles involving exterior maintenance or garden-related tasks. Proven ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members to ensure satisfaction and smooth operations.
