Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Full Time Housekeeper to join our team. In this vital role, you will ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by performing thorough cleaning and sanitation tasks across designated areas. Duties Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal to maintain cleanliness standards. Sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas in accordance with health and safety regulations. Use appropriate cleaning agents and equipment to ensure effective sanitation while adhering to OSHA guidelines. Maintain floors through proper care techniques such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning as needed. Restock supplies like paper towels, soap dispensers, and cleaning materials to ensure availability at all times. Follow environmental services protocols to promote eco-friendly cleaning practices. Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing attention and report any maintenance issues promptly. Qualifications Prior custodial or janitorial experience in commercial or healthcare settings preferred. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to cleaning and sanitation procedures. Experience with floor care techniques including stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet maintenance. Strong understanding of environmental services best practices for health and safety compliance. Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and extractors safely and effectively. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards. Previous hospital or healthcare environment experience is a plus but not required.
