Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Houseman/Housekeeper/Laundry professional to support our hotel operations. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and orderliness throughout the property, ensuring our guests enjoy a spotless and welcoming environment. Your proactive approach and dedication will contribute significantly to guest satisfaction and the smooth running of our hotel. Duties Perform floor cleaning and maintenance using appropriate cleaning equipment and techniques to ensure a pristine appearance. Handle cleaning tasks across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces with precision and care. Manage laundry operations by sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and guest clothing efficiently. Use chemical agents safely by adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines and proper handling procedures. Conduct sanitation procedures in accordance with hotel standards and health regulations to maintain hygiene excellence. Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to linen carts, cleaning equipment, or supplies to support operational efficiency. Respond promptly to guest requests or issues related to housekeeping services with professionalism and a service-oriented attitude. Requirements Prior experience in hotel housekeeping management or industrial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided. Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols is advantageous. Ability to handle cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and steam cleaners effectively. Strong understanding of sanitation standards, chemical handling, and floor care techniques. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor. Physical stamina for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting, bending, and prolonged standing or walking.
