Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dependable Shuttle Driver/Houseman to join our team Monday through Friday. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely transporting guests, staff, and personal vehicles within designated routes while providing exceptional customer service. Your attention to detail, adherence to traffic regulations, and ability to operate various passenger vehicles will ensure a smooth and efficient experience for everyone involved. This position offers a dynamic work environment where your driving skills and professionalism will make a positive impact daily. Duties Safely operate shuttle buses, passenger vans, and personal vehicles to transport guests, staff, and equipment along local routes in compliance with all state transportation regulations. Assist with the loading and unloading of luggage or equipment, ensuring proper manual handling techniques to prevent injury. Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of assigned vehicles, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and reporting any mechanical issues promptly. Communicate effectively with clients and team members to coordinate schedules and address any special transportation needs or concerns. Follow GPS navigation instructions accurately to ensure timely arrivals and departures on designated routes. Provide friendly customer service by greeting passengers warmly, assisting with boarding or disembarking, and answering questions professionally. Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during all driving activities. Experience Previous experience as a delivery driver, bus driver, chauffeur, or in medical transportation is highly desirable. Proven ability to operate passenger vehicles such as vans, limousines, or shuttle buses confidently and safely. Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and local driving routes to optimize efficiency. Experience with manual handling of luggage or equipment is a plus. Knowledge of state transportation regulations and commercial driving standards is essential. Strong communication skills for client interaction and team coordination. Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary and maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety standards.
