Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeping Attendant to join our team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort in our residential or hospitality environments. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a pristine, welcoming space by performing a variety of cleaning, sanitation, and organizational tasks. Your attention to detail and commitment to exceptional service will contribute directly to the satisfaction of residents, guests, or clients. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of rooms, common areas, and outdoor spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment. Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items. Maintain floor care through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, carpet cleaning, and polishing to ensure surfaces are spotless and safe. Assist with heavy lifting tasks such as moving furniture or equipment safely using manual handling techniques. Ensure all sanitation standards are met by disinfecting surfaces and waste disposal in accordance with health regulations. Manage time effectively to complete daily cleaning schedules while prioritizing urgent requests or special assignments. Support housekeeping management by reporting maintenance issues or supply shortages promptly and assisting with inventory control. Requirements Proven experience in residential cleaning, hotel housekeeping, janitorial work, or commercial cleaning environments. Knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning and polishing. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and outdoor work activities. Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards residents, guests, or clients. Familiarity with sanitation protocols and proper use of cleaning products. Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes. Previous experience in laundry services or custodial roles is preferred; outdoor work experience is a plus.
