Duties Thoroughly clean guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a spotless environment. Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, restrooms, and dining spaces by performing sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and surface disinfecting. Care for flooring through proper techniques such as carpet cleaning and floor polishing to preserve their appearance and safety. Restock amenities like toiletries, linens, towels, and other supplies to meet guest needs efficiently. Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure timely repairs and uphold safety standards. Follow health and safety protocols rigorously to prevent contamination and ensure a hygienic environment for guests and staff alike. Assist with laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels as needed. Support team members with additional custodial tasks during busy periods or special events to maintain overall cleanliness standards. Skills Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles within hotels or similar hospitality environments. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, including floor care methods such as carpet extraction and floor polishing. Familiarity with hotel operations and guest service standards to deliver exceptional hospitality experiences. Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively while adhering to safety guidelines. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness across all areas. Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and moving throughout shifts. Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues clearly.
