Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our team and ensure that our residential or commercial spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning, sanitation, laundry, and light cooking tasks to create a welcoming, hygienic environment. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will help deliver exceptional service to our clients or residents, making their experience enjoyable and stress-free. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of living or working spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitization Maintain cleanliness of floors through carpet cleaning, floor care, and appropriate custodial techniques Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing clothing and linens efficiently Prepare simple meals or snacks as needed, ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are met Manage sanitation procedures by disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas regularly Provide excellent customer service by addressing residents' or clients' requests promptly and professionally Uphold safety standards by following proper cleaning protocols and using appropriate equipment for janitorial and commercial cleaning tasks Experience Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments with custodial or janitorial responsibilities Prior hotel housekeeping experience is highly desirable for understanding guest service expectations Familiarity with floor care techniques including carpet cleaning and maintenance of various flooring types Experience in laundry operations, including handling delicate fabrics and linen management Knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure hygienic environments in both residential and hospitality settings Background in housekeeping management or supervising cleaning teams is a plus Ability to perform light cooking tasks while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety Join us in creating clean, comfortable spaces where people feel valued!
