Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to meet health and safety standards Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing Operate cleaning equipment including vacuums, carpet cleaners, floor buffers, and other janitorial tools efficiently and safely Maintain floors through proper cleaning techniques such as sweeping, mopping, polishing, and floor care treatments Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture, equipment, or supplies with proper technique to ensure safety Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific needs and deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism Experience Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments with familiarity in janitorial or custodial duties Knowledge of cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and proper application methods for various surfaces Hands-on experience with floor cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning and floor care maintenance Strong time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes Outdoor work experience is a plus for maintaining exterior spaces or outdoor furniture cleaning Demonstrated ability to handle heavy lifting safely and operate cleaning equipment effectively Excellent client communication skills to ensure customer satisfaction and address specific requests confidently
