We're seeking the right candidate for the position of Housekeeping Staff at Manhattan Community Care Center . In this vital role, you'll ensure that our residents receive the highest level of care while collaborating with a dedicated team, providing exceptional clinical leadership and support. Essential Qualifications:
Dust wall vents, handrails, ceiling fans, baseboards, furniture and blinds. Vacuum, spot clean and shampoo carpets and furniture as needed. Sweep and mop floors. Clean and sanitize bathrooms, ensuring that all paper goods and soap dispensers are stocked adequately. Check for and remove marks from walls. Empty trash cans in resident apartments/suites and common areas. Follow proper cleaning and infection control policies and procedures. Document provision of services in accordance with Company policy. Report any hazards, violations, or sanitation issues to the Director of Maintenance and Housekeeping. Work collaboratively with peers and other team members to ensure the safety and satisfaction of all residents. Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times, particularly when interacting with residents and their families. Communicate with residents, family members and guests in a respectful, diplomatic manner. Collaborate with associates in other departments to ensure that resident needs are being met appropriately.
The Ideal Candidate:
High school diploma or GED preferred. Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language. Possess an affinity for working with seniors. Professional and neat appearance and presentation, including adherence to the dress code and good personal hygiene. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with people at all levels.
