Job Summary The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining clean, sanitary, comfortable, and attractive guest rooms and public areas of the hotel. This position ensures that all guest rooms meet hotel cleanliness standards and provides excellent service to guests. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Clean and service assigned guest rooms according to hotel standards. Make beds, change linens, and replace towels and amenities. Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and sanitize all room surfaces. Clean and disinfect bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and mirrors. Empty trash containers and dispose of waste properly. Replenish guest supplies such as toiletries, coffee, cups, and tissues. Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to management. Inspect rooms to ensure cleanliness and readiness for guest occupancy. Maintain housekeeping carts and storage areas in a clean and organized manner. Follow hotel policies, safety procedures, and cleaning protocols. Respond to guest requests in a courteous and professional manner. Assist with cleaning public areas as needed. Qualifications Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required. Ability to work independently and efficiently. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 25-50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Good communication and customer service skills.
