GENERAL PURPOSE

To be part of a vibrant team devoted to delivering a unique and enjoyable customer service experience for our residents and visitors.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Clean resident suites according to schedule, including but not limited to: vacuum carpets spot-clean carpets as necessary clean ceilings and walls as necessary (e.g., removing cobwebs) dust furniture, shelves, light fixtures, and other surfaces clean bathroom, including shower stall, sink, toilet, counter, and floor clean kitchenette, including sink, counter, refrigerator, and floor defrost refrigerator as necessary remove trash remove and launder bed linens and towels replace bed linens and towels clean windows as necessary Assist in Annual Suite Service of resident suites according to schedule. Clean community common areas to schedule, including but not limited to: vacuum carpets spot-clean carpets as necessary mop floors clean ceilings and walls as necessary (e.g. removing cobwebs) dust furniture, shelves, light fixtures, and other surfaces clean restrooms including sinks, toilets, counters, and floors remove trash clean windows as necessary Deep clean community common areas according to schedule. Effectively collaborate with team members to improve resident and family experience. Attend and participate in onboarding and annual training, in-services and team member meetings as requested. QUALIFICATIONS

Must be at least 18 years old. Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Meet state or provincial health related requirements. Maintain any certifications as required by state or provincial regulations. Desire to work with older adults and their families Projects a positive and professional image at all times.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Physical Demands include: Standing, Walking, Sitting, Bending, Reaching, Pushing, Pulling, Climbing Stairs, Grasping, Manual Dexterity, Stooping, Kneeling, Crouching, Vision Acuity, Color Vision, Talking, and Hearing. The weight determined to be appropriate for a Housekeeper to lift with or without reasonable accommodations is up to 50 lbs.

EXPOSURE RISK CLASSIFICATION

May perform unplanned tasks involving exposure to blood, bodily fluids, or tissue which may contain AIDS, HIV, and Hepatitis A, B, and C viruses.
