The night attendant will also assist with the morning routine.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Implement TenderNest's mission statement. Greet all employees and residents that you encounter throughout your shift. Meet with the evening attendant for pre-shift orientation 10 minutes before official start time of shift. Get updates on all residents, home operations, count narcotics, review communication log since your previous shift. Give report to daytime cook relieving you. Check on each resident ensuring resident safety and satisfaction. Answer all call lights and respond to resident needs. Complete all 2 hour night checks, meeting all resident. Attend to nightly cleaning duties. Double check that frozen foods are pulled for the cooks. Stay awake and attentive to all resident needs. Complete any laundry left from the previous shift, following the Daily Laundry Policy posted in laundry room. Complete the required charting, making sure the today screen is clear by the end of your shift. Also pay special attention to any unusual circumstances or events. Make sure all accidents are charted for residents and employees under incident reports and the appropriate family member & nurse are notified. Assist residents who have been incontinent of bowel or bladder.
This care will include:
cleaning the resident, bedding and clothing. All soiled laundry is to be placed in wash and at least underway for the next shift. All soiled diapers, pads, etc. should be removed from the house immediately. Complete all morning duties working with the caregiver to ensure that all necessary resident needs are met prior to completing shift. Attend in-services as required and assigned for your job. Other duties as assigned.
Pay:
From $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 18.0 - 36.0 per week
