The Housekeeper ensures cleaning and waste disposal are performed in accordance with the FIA Financial Regulatory requirements to maintain a safe and sanitary premises. Housekeepers are also required to wear company provided PPE applicable to the task and must be able to assist other facility staff members in facilities-related cleaning tasks when requested. Key Responsibilities Performs typical cleaning tasks that support the entire facility, inside and out. Reports resupply needs and any facility related problems to immediate supervisor. Coordinate and oversee third-party catering services, including setup, service readiness, and post-event cleanup to ensure a clean, organized, and seamless experience. Follows prescribed safety regulations as required. Perform daily walkthroughs of both the inside and outside of facilities to remove trash. Empty trash cans from throughout the facilities. Restock cleaning supplies in the restrooms, lunchrooms, breakrooms, and production floor. Clean and disinfect water fountains, refrigerators, and microwaves. Break-down cardboard boxes as needed in the warehouse and throughout the facility for recycling. Clean glass throughout the facilities, both inside and outside. Thoroughly vacuum carpets and clean floors throughout the facilities. Clean and sanitize all toilets, urinals, and sinks. Sweep and mop warehouse and production floors as needed. Keep housekeeping closets clean and organized. Dust offices, lunchrooms, meeting rooms/areas, windowsills, vents, machines, and overhead areas. Clean and disinfect door handles and kick plates throughout facility. Reports defective cleaning equipment and maintenance concerns to supervisor. Does not complete maintenance and other duties unless they meet the definition of excluded activities as defined in the Financial Regulations. Required Qualifications High School Diploma/GED 5+ years of experience or training in cleaning and housekeeping of industrial facilities in retails, warehouse, or manufacturing. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The employee is frequently exposed to a variety of extreme weather conditions on facility grounds. The noise level in the work environment and facility grounds can be loud. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing. The employee must frequently lift or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
