Use appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents safely and effectively for floor care, carpet cleaning, and surface sanitation. Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture or large items while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain organized storage of cleaning supplies and equipment for efficient workflow. Skills Proven experience in residential cleaning or custodial roles with a strong understanding of janitorial procedures. Skilled in various cleaning techniques including dusting, floor cleaning, carpet care, and surface sanitation. Knowledge of cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and proper handling of cleaning chemicals. Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, steam cleaners, buffers, and carpet extractors effectively. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently within designated timeframes. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients. Physical stamina for outdoor work experiences involving manual handling and heavy lifting. Experience in housekeeping management or supervising team members is a plus.
