Housekeeper Freedom Detox with Pyramid Healthcare - Gastonia, NC Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM $18.50 per hour + Full Benefits Help Create a Clean, Safe, and Welcoming Environment Freedom Detox, part of Pyramid Healthcare, is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team in Gastonia, NC. In this role, you'll play an essential part in supporting the recovery journey of our clients by maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable treatment environment for clients, staff, and visitors. If you take pride in your work, enjoy staying organized, and want to make a meaningful impact in healthcare, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Do Clean and sanitize client rooms, bathrooms, nursing units, offices, common areas, lounges, hallways, and waiting areas. Prepare and clean client rooms following discharge, including changing linens and ensuring rooms are ready for new admissions. Stock bathrooms and common areas with clean linens, toiletries, and other necessary supplies. Empty trash and dispose of waste according to facility procedures. Complete daily housekeeping assignments using department checklists. Safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment while following company policies. Follow all infection prevention and control procedures, including standard precautions and proper hand hygiene. Maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the facility. Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly. Perform other housekeeping-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications Preferred:

High school diploma or GED Previous housekeeping, environmental services, hospitality, or healthcare cleaning experience CPR, AED, and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain if required) What We're Looking For Reliable with excellent attention to detail Able to work independently with minimal supervision Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to identify and solve routine problems Professional, dependable, and team-oriented Committed to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for everyone in the facility Physical Requirements Regular standing, walking, bending, reaching, and climbing stairs Frequent use of hands and arms while cleaning and handling supplies Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and carry up to 25 pounds Ability to work safely in a healthcare environment with potential exposure to infectious diseases and behavioral health clients Why Pyramid Healthcare?
