Housekeeper

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and common areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness. Change bed linens, replenish towels, and restock toiletries as needed. Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces to maintain a pristine appearance. Vacuum carpets and clean floors using appropriate methods for different surfaces. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Assist with laundry services as required, ensuring all linens are cleaned and folded properly. Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing to promote health and safety standards. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages to management. Skills Strong cleaning skills with experience in hospitality or hotel environments preferred. Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and custodial practices. Familiarity with housekeeping management principles is a plus. Proficient in floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, and polishing. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Strong time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff.
