Housekeeping Crew Leader | Full-Time | Greensboro Coliseum Complex

Overview Under the direction of the Housekeeping Supervisor, the Housekeeper Crew Leader will be responsible for assisting in the preparation, coordination, and execution of the cleaning and clean-up activities at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex and all other of its venues and any assigned spaces. Along with other custodial full-time and part-time staff and contractors, this person will work and oversee other housekeeping crew workers to complete assigned tasks. This role pays an hourly rate of $22.00-$25.00 Benefits for

Full-Time Roles:

Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day cleaning operations and coordinate assignments for the Housekeeping Team. Ensure housekeeping tasks are completed in a timely fashion in accordance with instructions. Perform inspections of tasks performed by Housekeeping Team. Assist in training new team members on required tasks established by the department. Assist with supervision of full-time and part-time staff in the absence of Housekeeping Supervisor. Lead Housekeeping Team and participate in performing a wide variety of housekeeping task such as trash removal, vacuuming, sanitizing bathrooms, sweeping, polishing, waxing, mopping, etc. Report unsatisfactory or dangerous situations that cannot be immediately corrected to appropriate authority. Perform all other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma/GED. 1+ years of supervisory experience overseeing full-time and/or part-time staff. Must have working knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, supplies, tools, and equipment utilized in the housekeeping and maintenance of a public assembly facility. Working knowledge of safety requirements while utilizing housekeeping equipment, cleaning supplies, and chemicals. Basic knowledge of rolling equipment and floor-stripping procedures and working knowledge of cleaning timelines. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work varied hours, often including frequent nights, holidays, and weekends. This position requires lifting heavy objects as needed.
