Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and techniques Handle various cleaning agents safely, adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) and chemical handling protocols Conduct floor care activities including vacuuming, mopping, polishing, and heavy-duty floor cleaning to maintain high standards of sanitation and appearance Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to moving furniture, supplies, or equipment while following manual handling safety procedures Maintain cleanliness of hotel facilities by sanitizing bathrooms, kitchens, hallways, and other designated areas in accordance with hotel housekeeping standards Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use; report any malfunction or need for repairs Follow hotel emergency procedures diligently and respond promptly to any safety or sanitation issues Skills Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or custodial roles within hospitality environments Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and janitorial best practices Expertise in handling chemical agents safely and effectively during cleaning operations Skilled in operating various cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners Excellent customer service skills with a friendly approach toward guests and team members Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting, manual handling, and prolonged standing or walking Familiarity with safety protocols including safety data sheets (SDS), hotel emergency procedures, and hazard prevention measures Join us if you're passionate about creating clean, safe spaces that make guests feel at home!
