In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of guest rooms, public spaces, and hotel facilities, ensuring an exceptional experience for all visitors. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, corridors, lobbies, restrooms, and other public areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and techniques. Handle chemical agents safely by following safety data sheets (SDS) and proper chemical handling procedures to ensure a secure environment. Vacuum carpets, sweep floors, mop surfaces, and conduct floor care to maintain pristine conditions across all areas. Utilize janitorial equipment efficiently for tasks such as dusting, polishing, and sanitation to uphold high standards of cleanliness. Assist with heavy lifting and manual handling tasks when moving furniture or cleaning supplies to prevent injuries. Respond promptly to guest requests or inquiries with excellent customer service skills, ensuring guest satisfaction. Follow hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities to maintain a safe environment for staff and guests. Qualifications Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or custodial/industrial cleaning roles with a focus on sanitation and floor care. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemical agent handling, and safety data sheets (SDS) compliance. Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and floor scrubbers effectively. Strong manual handling skills with the ability to perform heavy lifting safely. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor. Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial services is highly desirable. Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety standards within the hospitality industry.
