Duties Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation of bathrooms and kitchens. Implement cleaning procedures using appropriate detergents and equipment to ensure hygiene standards are met consistently. Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing. Maintain the cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and specialized floor care techniques. Manage janitorial supplies and cleaning equipment to ensure availability and proper functioning for daily tasks. Follow manual handling protocols when lifting heavy objects or moving furniture to prevent injury. Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific cleaning needs and provide exceptional customer service during each interaction. Ensure outdoor work areas are kept tidy by performing outdoor cleaning tasks as needed. Adhere strictly to sanitation procedures to prevent contamination and maintain a safe environment for residents and staff. Experience Prior experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability in floor cleaning techniques including carpet extraction and surface sanitation. Knowledge of cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and proper handling of cleaning equipment. Experience with laundry operations and managing cleaning supplies inventory. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple areas. Physical stamina for manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting, outdoor work, and prolonged standing or walking. Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and teamwork within a housekeeping management environment.
