Respond with Compassionate Action We are seeking a Housekeeper, Samaritan Inn to join our Facilities team in North Wilkesboro, NC . Through humanitarian work, the goal and purpose of Samaritans Purse are to help people in Jesus name and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In the role of Housekeeper , you will have the opportunity to: Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ Clean and refresh guest rooms as well as common areas and public restrooms. Conduct room inspections to ensure standards are met Greet guest as you see them in a warm friendly manner, assist as needed Communicate guest room status to the Lead Housekeeper. Other duties as assigned What are the qualifications? Serve with Excellence As a qualified candidate, you will have the following skills and experience: High school diploma or GED and at least (3) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent communication skills and problem-solving skills Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, pushing, and pulling while performing cleaning duties Must be able to lift, carry, and move cleaning supplies, linens, and other items. The position may involve climbing stairs, working on hands and knees, and prolonged periods of standing. Employees may also be exposed to dust, cleaning products, and varying temperatures.
