Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a spotless environment. Maintain cleanliness of all public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and common spaces by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting floors. Restock supplies like toiletries, linens, towels, and amenities to meet guest needs efficiently. Follow established safety and cleaning protocols to ensure a hygienic environment for both guests and staff. Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold quality standards. Adhere to hotel policies regarding sanitation procedures, waste disposal, and infection control practices. Assist with special cleaning projects such as carpet shampooing or deep cleaning of designated areas as needed. Skills Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or housekeeping within hotels or similar environments. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning. Familiarity with hospitality standards and guest service expectations. Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards. Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and moving throughout shifts. Experience in custodial or industrial cleaning is a plus; leadership or housekeeping management experience is beneficial for advancement.
