Weekend Houseperson/Driver Element Fargo West Fargo, ND Job Details Part-time From $16 an hour 9 hours ago Qualifications In-person customer service English Driver's License Passenger pickup and drop-off Full Job Description Weekend Houseperson/Driver | Element Fargo Element Fargo is seeking a dependable, self-directed, and detail-oriented individual to join our hotel team as a Weekend Daytime Houseperson/Driver. This is a part-time position scheduled during the daytime on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The Houseperson helps maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the hotel. This position also provides shuttle transportation for guests, assists with basic property upkeep, and supports other hotel departments as needed. Essential Responsibilities Safely transport guests using the company shuttle vehicle. Clean and maintain all public areas according to brand and management standards, including; parking lots, hallways and elevators, stairways and service areas, public restrooms, offices, and banquet, meeting, and conference rooms. Dust and polish furniture and fixtures. Vacuum, mop, sweep, shampoo carpets, wash windows, and clean or wax floors. Remove trash and maintain outdoor smoking areas. Stock and organize supply rooms as needed. Complete assigned deep-cleaning and preventative-maintenance tasks. Assist with tasks such as moving furniture, flipping mattresses, and preparing guest or public areas. Monitor the condition of hotel property and report damage, missing items, or mechanical concerns to management. Respond to guest requests and service concerns in a timely, friendly, and professional manner. Perform routine security walks and help maintain safe, orderly public spaces. Assist other hotel departments as needed. Requirements Must be at least 21 years old. Valid driver's license required. No serious motor vehicle violations within the past three years. Ability to safely operate the hotel's shuttle vehicles. Ability to lift at least 50 pounds. Ability to walk or stand for most of the shift. Ability to work daytime shifts on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Ability to prioritize assignments and work independently. Comfortable working in a fast-paced hotel environment. Able to understand and communicate in English sufficiently to perform job duties and assist guests. Genuine commitment to quality work and excellent guest service. Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage procedures, and commercial cleaning equipment preferred. Maintenance experience is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate will be reliable, outgoing, friendly, and willing to assist wherever needed to support hotel operations and provide an excellent guest experience.
