Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Maintain cleanliness in guest rooms, restrooms, and common areas. Conduct floor care activities such as stripping, waxing, and buffing as needed. Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly stored. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Follow established cleaning protocols to meet health and safety standards. Assist with industrial cleaning tasks when necessary. Provide exceptional hospitality by responding to guest requests promptly and courteously. Qualifications Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial services is preferred but not required. Knowledge of floor care techniques and custodial best practices is a plus. Familiarity with hotel or hospitality environments is advantageous. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting. Must be physically capable of performing cleaning tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
