Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our team and ensure that the nursery school spaces are clean and disinfected. This job is hourly, part-time and only during the months that the nursery school is in session (10 months/year). The work must be completed when the students are not in class, i.e. before 7 a.m., and/or after 1 p.m. Duties Vacuum, sweep, mop all classrooms in nursery school wing Replenish paper towers and toilet paper in all classrooms and bathrooms Clean and disinfect all classroom bathrooms, including floors and toilets Remove trash from classrooms and bathrooms daily Clean and disinfect education wing restrooms, except during holiday breaks and summer Disinfect door handles (inside and out) on first floor education wing Vacuum and remove trash from BNS director's office Requirements Proven experience in cleaning Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, surfaces, floor care, and sanitation procedures. Previous janitorial or custodial experience demonstrating attention to detail and reliability is preferred.
