Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and public areas using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment Handle chemical agents safely by following proper procedures outlined in Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and hotel protocols Use vacuuming, floor care, and other janitorial equipment efficiently to maintain cleanliness standards Conduct detailed sanitation tasks including dusting, mopping, bed making, and trash removal to ensure guest comfort and hygiene Assist with heavy lifting and manual handling of furniture or supplies as needed while adhering to safety guidelines Follow hotel emergency procedures promptly in case of incidents or safety concerns to ensure guest and staff safety Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, chemical usage, and safety compliance for operational consistency Skills Proven experience in hotel housekeeping, custodial work, or janitorial roles with a focus on hospitality environments Strong knowledge of floor cleaning techniques, floor care products, and cleaning equipment operation Ability to handle chemical agents responsibly while ensuring safety data sheet (SDS) compliance Excellent customer service skills to interact politely with guests and team members Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management practices and sanitation standards Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, vacuuming, and extended periods of standing or walking Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to respond effectively in urgent situations Embark on a rewarding career where your meticulous work enhances guest experiences daily.
