Room Attendant Fairfield Inn & Suites - 3.3 East Syracuse, NY Job Details Part-time From $16 an hour 22 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Full Job Description Housekeeper / Room Attendant We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Housekeeper/Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team. This position is responsible for maintaining clean, comfortable, and welcoming guest rooms and hotel areas while meeting our cleanliness and service standards. No previous hotel experience is required — we are happy to train the right person! What You'll Do Clean and prepare guest rooms for arriving and staying guests Make beds and replace linens and towels Clean and sanitize bathrooms Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and polish surfaces Empty trash and properly dispose of waste Restock toiletries, linens, cups, and other guest supplies Keep housekeeping carts and storage areas clean, organized, and stocked Clean hallways and other assigned hotel areas as needed Report damaged items, maintenance concerns, lost-and-found items, or safety issues Protect guest and hotel property while performing cleaning duties Follow hotel sanitation and safety standards Work efficiently to complete assigned rooms within established timeframes Assist the housekeeping team with additional duties as needed What We're Looking For Dependable and punctual Strong attention to detail Able to work independently and as part of a team Positive attitude and willingness to learn Able to communicate effectively with guests, coworkers, and management Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is a plus, but not required Physical Requirements This is an active, physical position. Team members must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, bend, stoop, squat, reach, and perform repetitive cleaning motions. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and push/pull housekeeping carts and equipment. Must have flexible availability. Weekends and holidays are required based on hotel needs. Why Join Our Team?
