Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common spaces, ensuring they meet cleanliness standards. Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items. Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, carpet cleaning, and floor care techniques to preserve their appearance and safety. Sanitize surfaces regularly using appropriate cleaning agents to prevent the spread of germs and bacteria. Provide excellent customer service by addressing residents' or guests' needs promptly and professionally. Manage custodial tasks such as trash removal, replenishing supplies, and maintaining cleaning equipment in good working order. Assist with housekeeping management tasks when needed, including inventory control of cleaning supplies and reporting maintenance issues. Skills Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments; hotel housekeeping experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of sanitation standards and proper cleaning techniques. Ability to perform janitorial duties efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Competence in laundry procedures and fabric care. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor. Familiarity with floor care methods such as carpet cleaning and polishing hard floors.
