Full Job Description General Purpose of Job:

To ensure motel rooms are cleaned, sanitized, and properly prepared for guests

Essential Functions:

Clean and prepare guest rooms, change bed linens, vacuum carpets, mop hard floors, clean bathroom fixtures, dust and sanitize surfaces, clean inside furniture drawers, clean mirrors and windows, and check that lights, TVs, and phones are working. Maintain a friendly and approachable attitude towards guests and coworkers. Arrive on time and ready to work. Respect all hotel equipment and property and use with care to avoid unnecessary damage. Complete general room cleaning when assigned by supervisor. Label and submit all lost and found items to the supervisor immediately . Complete all other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to read and write. Must be able to see, hear, and communicate with supervisors Must be able to bend and kneel on a continual basis. Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours. Must be able to lift trash bags, mattresses to change bed linens, and laundry bundles
