Job Type Part time We are seeking an experienced Groomer to join our team and help us expand our grooming services. Shaker Animal Hospital is a busy multi-doctor practice with a variety of services offered including grooming, pet boarding and day care. The successful candidate for this position will share our love of our patients and our loyal clientele while we provide the highest quality care to their pets. We are looking for someone who is invested in the long-term success of their career at our hospital as a member of our team. The Groomer provides general grooming services to our patients of all breeds using appropriate grooming techniques such as, bathing, clipping, nail trimming, ear cleaning, external gland expression, brushing and drying. The groomer provides general housekeeping services and care for our grooming patients while they are with us and may be asked to assist with the care of boarding dogs and cats. General Care includes feeding and walking, cleaning their enclosures and bedding as well as giving belly rubs and kisses. Grooming school classes and/or grooming certificate preferred. Compensation is hourly base pay plus commission. Shifts days and times are variable and can be on a set rotation or weekly schedule. Dependable attendance is required.

Pay Range:
