Job Description
We are a warm, welcoming family looking for a caring, dependable nanny/mother's helper to help care for our active 16-month-old, with the opportunity to transition to full-time over the coming months. We are also expecting a newborn at the end of October, so we're looking for someone interested in growing with our family. About the Position Start with approximately 1-2 days per week (flexible schedule) Opportunity to increase to part-time and eventually full-time if it's a great fit for both of us Mother will be present during all working hours Responsibilities Childcare Provide attentive, engaging care for our 16-month-old Play, read, sing, and encourage age-appropriate learning and development Take toddler outdoors for walks or play when appropriate Prepare simple meals and snacks for the toddler Assist with diaper changes and nap routines Help transition to caring for both the toddler and newborn after the baby arrives, with mom always at home Mother's Helper / Household Support Wash bottles and children's dishes Children's laundry Tidy toys and play areas Light kitchen cleanup after meals General household tidying Occasional meal prep or grocery organization Other light housekeeping tasks that help keep the household running smoothly
