Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our team, committed to maintaining a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents and guests. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional residential cleaning services with attention to detail, efficiency, and professionalism. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and surface sanitation to ensure a spotless environment. Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to maintain hygiene standards. Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing. Maintain floor care by sweeping, mopping, buffing, and applying appropriate treatments to preserve flooring quality. Manage outdoor work tasks such as patio or porch cleaning and outdoor surface maintenance when required. Use manual handling techniques safely for heavy lifting tasks related to furniture or large cleaning supplies. Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service throughout the process. Qualifications Proven experience in residential cleaning or custodial roles with knowledge of janitorial practices. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, steam cleaners, and other janitorial tools. Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, sanitation standards, and proper use of cleaning detergents. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks comfortably. Experience with floor cleaning techniques including floor stripping, waxing, and polishing.
